Early departure from Quito, traveling through the Eastern Andes toward the Ecuadorian Amazon. Begin your day with a rejuvenating soak in the Papallacta Hot Springs, surrounded by the stunning peaks of the Andes. Then, descend into the tropical lowlands as the landscape transforms into lush rainforest. Along the way, there will be a stop for lunch (not included).

En route to the Amazon, stop at Monkey Beach in Puerto Misahuallí, where playful capuchin monkeys welcome you to the jungle. Upon arrival at Suchipakari Amazon Lodge, guests are warmly welcomed with a brief orientation and explanation of the upcoming activities, allowing time to settle in and connect with the surroundings.

The journey continues with a travel to Anaconda Island, where a peaceful lagoon provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable caiman observation experience. In the afternoon,  box lunch before visiting a traditional Kichwa community house, where ancestral knowledge is shared through a demonstration of chicha de yuca preparation. You will also have the opportunity to test your aim using a traditional blowgun, gaining insight into indigenous hunting techniques and daily life.

Afterwards, visit the Ahuano Community, where you will explore the traditional artisanal ceramic process, learning about the materials, techniques, and cultural significance behind this ancestral craft.

As the day comes to an end, return to Suchipakari Lodge to enjoy an interactive Chocolate Experience, discovering the importance of Amazonian cacao and its transformation of cacao into chocolate, to be enjoyed with fresh fruits. Afterwards, savor a delicious dinner at the lodge, followed by an overnight stay at Suchipakari Lodge.
