Settle into the charm of the capital — a city where history and tradition meet stunning Andean scenery. Surrounded by colonial architecture, lively plazas, and panoramic views from every corner, Quito offers a perfect introduction to Ecuador’s cultural and natural beauty.
DAY 2: JOURNEY TO THE AMAZON
DAY 2: JOURNEY TO THE AMAZONAfter breakfast, begin your day with a rejuvenating soak in the Papallacta Hot Springs, surrounded by the stunning peaks of the Andes. Then, descend into the tropical lowlands as the landscape transforms into lush rainforest.
Upon arrival at Suchipakari Amazon Lodge, enjoy a delicious welcome lunch before your first guided rainforest experience.
In the afternoon, your naturalist guide will lead an introductory jungle walk, sharing insights about medicinal plants, giant trees, and the incredible biodiversity of the region. Later, cool off with a tubing adventure down the river — a relaxing and fun way to connect with the rhythm of the rainforest.
After dinner, get ready for a fascinating Night Walk, where the jungle comes alive with the sounds and sights of nocturnal wildlife.

The park’s vast páramo landscapes shelter wild horses, Andean foxes, and diverse birdlife.
Choose between an unforgettable horseback ride across the open plains or a guided hike to the José Rivas Refuge (4,864 m / 15,958 ft), offering sweeping views of the snow-capped summit and valleys below.
Before returning to Quito, visit the serene Limpiopungo Lagoon, surrounded by towering peaks — a peaceful and inspiring finale to your Andean adventure.
