The purging aspect of taking Ayahuasca is one of the most cathartic parts of the experience, and the catharsis in the bodily purges that Ayahuasca produce can take physical form in any one or more of the following ways
In a typical ceremony it is completely normal to experience any or even all of these symptoms, and although hard to interpret at first it becomes apparent very quickly in any Ayahuasca experience that these effects within themselves are an incredibly poignant part of the healing process Ayahuasca brings. Whilst each ceremony is conducted you will be accompanied by not only the Shaman leading proceedings but also Brett and Naho, who will be on hand at all times to look after your well being within the environment.
Icaros are beautiful spiritual songs, both vocal and musical, that come to Shamans throughout their studies and that accompany each ceremony and enhance both the atmosphere and the personal experience of each subject in the group. They are communicated initially by spirits and are personal to each Shaman, and not only add to the ceremony on a positive level but also protect each participant and shield the openness of ones mind against any negative spiritual energy that may surround the group.
Before taking part in an Ayahuasca retreat it is important to respect the dieta followed by those within the Ecuadorian Amazon and worldwide before drinking the medicine. Coming to Ayahuasca in your purest possible form not only prepares your personal strength and self respect for what you are choosing to experience, but also prepares your body to be the cleanest and strongest it could be before partaking in the ceremonies. It is highly recommended anyone coming to a retreat avoid the following foods:
- WESTERN PHARMACEUTICALS
- RECREATIONAL DRUGS
- RED MEAT
- CHILLI/SPICY FOODS

- SEX, IN ANY FORM
